Position Overview:

The role of the Housekeeper is crucial in ensuring that all shared spaces, offices, and unoccupied units are maintained in a clean and appealing manner. This position involves various tasks that contribute to the overall cleanliness and aesthetic of the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Uphold the cleanliness standards set by the organization for all communal areas, including but not limited to laundry rooms, leasing offices, clubhouses, fitness centers, business centers, and recreational areas.
  2. Ensure that all vacant apartments, model units, and leasing displays are cleaned and maintained according to the schedule provided by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
  3. Manage cleaning supplies in compliance with safety protocols, notifying the Maintenance Supervisor of supply levels to maintain adequate inventory.
  4. Regularly remove litter and debris to enhance the visual appeal of the property.
  5. Distribute notices and communications to residents as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
  6. Handle and maintain cleaning equipment in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring that all tools are returned to their designated storage areas in good condition.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols regarding the use of equipment and handling of property.
  8. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates should possess a moderate level of proficiency in reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills, enabling them to follow instructions related to cleaning supplies and service requests.

Physical Requirements:

Applicants must be physically capable of walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 35 lbs., and navigating stairs across a multi-terrain property. The role requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
