Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Lifeguard at Goldfish Swim School - Katy. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility and act immediately to secure their safety in the event of an emergency.
  • Communicate facility rules to patrons fairly and consistently.
  • Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of medical services.
  • Ensure that medical services are contacted by the most appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency.
  • Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain a high standard of customer service.
  • Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe facility as directed/assigned.
  • Assist with closing and securing the facility.
Requirements
  • High School Student with Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certifications.
  • Prefer 6 months experience as a lifeguard at an aquatic facility or camp.
Work Environment

While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.

Certifications and Licenses

Required to have current CPR/AED, First Aid, and Lifeguarding certifications.
