Indoor Lifeguard

Are you a team player who is passionate about water safety? Do you have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lifeguard to join our team at Goldfish Swim School - Katy.

As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. You will be the first point of contact in case of an emergency and will be required to provide emergency care and treatment until the arrival of medical services.

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility and act immediately and appropriately to secure their safety in the event of an emergency.
• Communicate the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of medical services.
• Ensure that medical services are contacted by the most appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency.
• Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Maintain and clean a safe facility as directed/assigned.
• Assist with closing and securing the facility.

• High School Student with Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certifications.
• Prefer 6 months experience as a lifeguard at an aquatic facility or camp.

While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.

Required to have current CPR/AED, First Aid, and Lifeguarding certifications in order to be considered for this position.
