We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the Engineering Services department. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Salem Power Uprate Project, providing technical support and leading modifications to support power uprate for Salem Units 1 and 2.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will perform duties as a Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE) for modifications needed to support the power uprate. Key responsibilities include determining solutions, managing resources, and preparing design deliverables.

Responsibilities
  • Qualify for and fulfill the LRE role for power uprate plant modifications and be accountable for the design "cradle to grave"
  • Establish modification scope, system performance requirements, and all testing requirements
  • Perform Owners Acceptance Reviews for design analysis, modification packages, procurement, and specifications in accordance with plant procedures
  • Manage technical supplier teams regarding cost, schedule, and quality
  • Schedule and coordinate Engineering and station department resources to deliver and install required design change packages
  • Interface with Project Manager to ensure that Engineering deliverables meet the overall project goals
  • Provide field support during modification walkdowns, installation, testing, and as-built verification
  • Comply with regulatory requirements including 50.59, License Amendment Request preparation, and any required supporting analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree with 10 years of experience performing related Engineering work in a nuclear power plant or related industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering
  • Availability for shift work during installation
  • Must meet Nuclear requirements for unescorted plant access
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $101,600 - $160,900, plus a 15% incentive. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, vision, dental, and well-being programs, a retirement program with 401(k) company match, company-paid life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and 18 days of paid time off per year.
