Larson Design Group is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our Geo-Environmental department. As a key member of our team, you will work on a wide range of design projects, including stream restoration, agricultural best management practices, and abandoned mine land reclamation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering efforts related to conservation and restoration practices.
  • Develop and maintain design budgets for routine scopes of work.
  • Perform initial QA/QC review of project submissions.
  • Assist senior management in development of schedules, technical proposals, and labor hour estimates.
  • Work closely with project teams to effectively describe and deliver scope of work.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 7 years job-related experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field from an ABET-accredited school or related field of study.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of A/E/S industry and ability to quickly review, understand, and resolve complex design and construction related issues.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and HEC-RAS.
  • Experience with natural stream channel design, E&S plans, agricultural design, and/or stormwater design.
