Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Team. As a Speech Therapist at Emerson Hospital, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient management, including evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing skills
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing function
  • Work with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on effective communication strategies and techniques
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient progress and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • At least one year prior Acute or Rehab experience preferred
  • MA SLP license and BLS certification required
  • Clinical expertise in patient population
  • Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs
  • Strong communication and assessment skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills and ability to maintain confidential information
