About the Job

The RN Clinical Services Director at Brookdale Carriage Club will lead our 35-bed Skilled Nursing unit with compassion, expertise, and dedication. The ideal candidate is an experienced nursing leader who can effectively manage day-to-day operations, oversee quality care delivery, and promote a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Clinical Leadership: Direct, coordinate, and monitor nursing care delivery to ensure safe, effective, and appropriate care for residents. Maintain residents' rights at all times.
  2. Care Planning: Oversee assessments of comprehensive nursing needs using accepted long-term care assessment tools within state and federal time frames. Coordinate care plans for each resident.
  3. Quality Assurance: Establish and implement Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Programs for enhanced resident care and quality of life. Participate in community surveys and monitor quality indicators.
  4. Nursing Operations: Develop and implement clinical systems, policies, and procedures that meet or exceed federal and state regulatory requirements. Plan, develop, and implement budgets, variance reports, and equipment/supply management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid and current state (RN) license issued by the relevant licensing agency.
  • CPR certification.
  • A minimum of three to five years of related supervisory experience, preferably in long-term care. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
