The role involves sharing and interpreting job-related information using fundamental communication skills. Good judgment in decision-making is essential, as is the ability to explain work methods and assist in training others or demonstrating work processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform floor care tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting.
  • Conduct surface care duties such as dusting, sanitizing, and cleaning glass and mirrors.
  • Manage waste removal by emptying trash and recycling bins and transporting waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Assist with light maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs and restocking supplies.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, policies, and procedures, and intervene in risky behaviors.
  • Follow all company procedures and guidelines diligently.
  • Respond positively to supervision and direction.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Understand reporting systems and environmental protocols.
  • Transport small equipment and tools, ensuring common areas are tidy, including lobbies and conference rooms.
  • During downtime, assist janitorial staff with restroom and break room restocking, damp mopping, and cleaning tasks.
  • Perform additional cleaning duties as needed, including elevators and common spaces.
Qualifications:
  • Prior custodial experience is required.
  • Successful completion of a drug test is mandatory.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening is necessary.
  • Cleaning experience is preferred.
  • Education level: less than high school or up to one month of related experience or training.
  • Ability to read and recognize basic words and numbers.
  • Clear printing and the ability to communicate in simple sentences are required.
  • Effective communication skills with co-workers, supervisors, and customers are essential.
  • Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers, are necessary.
  • Familiarity with American measurements for money, weight, and volume is important.
  • A valid driver's license is required if driving a personal or company vehicle for work purposes.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.
Compensation: $22.00 per hour

Shifts:

Sunday - Thursday

Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Monday - Thursday: 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM
