We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Testing Field Technician to join our team at ECS Limited. As a Field Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction materials on our project sites.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of materials, including soils, aggregates, and concrete on construction materials testing project sites.
- Execute tasks based on project requirements under the guidance of senior technicians, staff professionals, and project managers.
- Perform routine field and/or laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using various methodologies and testing equipment following industry standards and compliance.
- Collect and analyze data, perform calculations, and document findings with precision in accordance with accepted engineering practices.
- Maintain daily communication with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers, and assist with organization of field equipment.
- No prior experience is necessary, as you will receive paid training and certification fees will be covered.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds and have a valid driver's license and insurance.
- Strong communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing, are essential.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors, peers, and supervisors is required.
