Compensation: $16.45 per hour
The Custodial Staff member is responsible for the thorough cleaning and upkeep of women's restrooms, as well as various other areas within the facility. Responsibilities include a range of tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in offices, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, escalators, break rooms, libraries, kitchenettes, stairways, locker rooms, and additional workspaces.
- Utilize brooms and mops for floor maintenance.
- Employ vacuum cleaners for cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Clean door panels and sills.
- Empty waste receptacles and transport trash to designated disposal areas.
- Restock restroom supplies as needed.
- Deliver high-quality work consistently.
- Adhere to Didlake's policies regarding conduct and demeanor.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using equipment and performing tasks.
- Complete all required training as mandated by Didlake.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma or GED, or a minimum of 6 months of prior custodial experience.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills with team members.
- Positive attitude and teamwork orientation.
- Capability to interact positively with individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to navigate environments with narrow, moving, or slippery surfaces.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
