Position Overview:
As a Senior Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for guiding the execution of programs aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive program strategy that meets organizational goals, while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and vendor relationships.
2. Oversee program modifications, ensuring that all changes are meticulously planned, authorized, and executed.
3. Ensure timely completion of program activities, adhering to budgetary constraints and quality benchmarks.
Advisory Role:
Provide expert advice on C5ISR technologies and initiatives, specifically to enhance capabilities within the EUCOM region.
Financial Management:
Create and oversee program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely receipt of funding.
Conditions of Employment:
Appointment may require a suitability determination based on a background investigation. Business travel may be necessary up to 25% of the time. A Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
Qualifications:
To qualify, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and possess specialized experience, including:
1. Crafting proposals for strategic planning and policy initiatives.
2. Managing program resources effectively.
3. Developing and implementing policies and procedures.
4. Collaborating with stakeholders on organizational initiatives.
Your resume should clearly outline relevant experience, and transcripts may be required for educational qualifications.
Additional Information:
This position is part of the Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project (DEMO), with a pay band equivalent to GS-14 through GS-15. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
