Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will:

  • Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and historical purchasing data to formulate effective sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate on the development and review of Statement of Work (SOW) documents.
  • Prepare and distribute Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to potential suppliers.
  • Evaluate received quotes, conduct thorough analyses, and lead negotiation strategies while addressing any discrepancies in specifications or contractual obligations.
  • Document purchase orders in accordance with internal protocols.
  • Manage post-award activities to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Engage significantly with suppliers in conjunction with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Be prepared for occasional travel, up to 25% of the time.


Essential Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • The capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship, as security clearance eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in government procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems.
  • Skills in analyzing cost and pricing data to ensure proposal compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR 15.4).
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) compliance.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements for procured goods and services, including SOW review.
  • Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with internal stakeholders.
