Position Summary:
The Senior Mechanical Commissioning Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in our organization, reporting directly to engineering management. This position encompasses technical oversight, business development, and the provision of professional services across various teams within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and guide staff on established processes and standards to foster team growth.
- Manage projects from a supervisory perspective, ensuring successful execution.
- Lead weekly scheduling for staff and actively participate in company-wide safety and training initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events, including trade shows, to enhance visibility and engagement.

Administrative Duties:
- Ensure quality assurance by supporting ongoing projects and client relationships.
- Contribute to achieving company sales and revenue objectives.
- Initiate and cultivate relationships with strategic clients and market sectors to drive business expansion.

Travel Requirements:
The candidate must be willing to travel to various job sites within the assigned region.

Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in HVACR, mechanical engineering, construction management, or an Associate's Degree in engineering technology or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years in a management role related to maintenance, construction, or engineering controls, or 7+ years in the commissioning industry.
- Extensive experience managing the integration of building systems, including pumps, fans, motors, air ventilation, chillers, boilers, and building automation systems.

Preferred Skills:
- Strong mentoring and coaching abilities, with effective presentation skills.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and the bidding process.
- Ability to independently solve problems and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability to various working conditions and physical requirements, including the ability to lift at least 30 pounds and climb ladders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Qualifications:
- Involvement in trade associations.
- Relevant certifications such as P.E., CCP, CxA, CEM, or similar.
- OSHA30 or other workplace safety certifications.
