Assistant Community Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Community Manager to join our team at LDG Development. As a key member of our community operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support in all aspects of community management, including sales, leasing, inventory analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve property occupancy goals and ensure efficient and courteous response to all resident requests.
- Assist in giving leasing tours, answering leasing phone calls, and processing online inquiries as needed.
- Design and implement a resident retention program, including a newsletter, resident referral program, or social activities.
- Maintain inventory and order administrative supplies and equipment for the maintenance department.
- Responsible for timely reporting, maintenance, and submission of all administrative forms, files, and reports.
- Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding residents or the property.
- Assist in regular onsite audits, including sampling tenant files to ensure compliance with program documents and regulations.
- Assist in regular audits of work order processing, unit turnaround time reviews, and other administrative tasks.
- Bring non-compliance issues to the attention of the Community Manager and assist in corrective action when necessary.
- Assist in lease audits and ensure the community maintains all compliance regulations.
- Assist the Community Manager in interviewing, screening, and hiring employees, as well as subsequent orientation, training, and scheduling.
- Participate in Solidago training as required and seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development.
Requirements:
- Maintain a consistent level of professional customer service and working knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, TDHCA, TAA, and other affordable housing programs.
- Prior experience in affordable housing and community relations is preferred, as well as thorough knowledge of Solidago policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and the Google platform, as well as OneSite affordable property management software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and embody the Solidago Culture and Core Values.
