Job Summary

Maintenance Associate

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team at the Masonic Library and Museum of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing and/or supervising general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing facilities.
  • Set up and clean up tasks associated with internal and external events.
  • Provide support for internal and external events as needed.
  • Perform maintenance of equipment, including repairs and replacements.
  • Perform other maintenance and housekeeping duties as requested.
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and assist in the facilitation of safety protocol.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years' maintenance industry experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of maintenance principles and procedures.
  • Ability to positively interact with the public and guests.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
