Job Title: Director of Research and Development

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Director of Research and Development to lead our product development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting the research and development direction for our division, ensuring optimal product development, manufacturing excellence, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement research and development strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Lead high-level meetings to set policies and plans for R&D excellence
  • Approve budgets and capital expenditures
  • Select and manage subordinate R&D management groups
  • Provide technical direction on potential acquisition targets and subcontracting partners
Requirements:
  • 15 years of R&D experience
  • MS or PhD in Materials Engineering or Physics preferred
