Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the healthcare team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As a Med/Surg Inpatient Surgical nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Current Maryland RN license or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland.
- CPR certification.
- ACLS certification for specific departments.
- BSN preferred; RN's without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months and complete degree within 4 years of their start date.
