QC Audit Collections Team Manager

Stellantis Financial Services US is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Team Manager to oversee and coordinate the activities of a team responsible for pursuing and collecting overdue payments on automobile loan accounts. This role involves managing staff who engage directly with customers to address and resolve delinquent accounts, ensuring that payments are brought up to date efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and direct the activities of collection teams, including the implementation of auto dialer strategies to enhance collection efforts.
- Define work processes, schedules tasks, and optimize workflow to increase efficiency.
- Assess accounts flagged for potential repossession and legal action, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on complex collection cases and suggest effective collection strategies.
- Deliver clear written and verbal instructions to staff.
- Inspect work outputs for precision, tidiness, and adherence to company policies and standards.
- Foster team cohesion, address conflicts, and mediate disputes to maintain a harmonious workplace.
- Evaluate performance reports of subordinates and offer constructive feedback to foster professional growth.
- Ensure adherence to the Collection Standards of Conduct policy and promote compliance within the team.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, ensuring a standardized approach across all operations.
- Handle sensitive consumer information, such as Social Security numbers and dates of birth, in accordance with privacy regulations and company guidelines.
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
- Minimum 3 years Collections Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- Knowledge of and Compliant with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, local, state and federal collection laws. Skip tracing experience.
