Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to lead and support digital transformation, data science, and analytics projects for various Navy clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MBSE principles, extensive knowledge of SysML and UML, and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in applying MBSE methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and practices to define, design, and document complex systems and architectures using SysML and UML.
  • Develop, maintain, and update system models that capture system requirements, behaviors, and interactions, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and consistent.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and manage system requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with system models.
  • Create and maintain system architecture models, ensuring they meet project objectives, standards, and performance requirements.
  • Use MBSE to support system verification and validation efforts, including test planning, test case development, and test execution.
  • Generate clear and concise system documentation, including system design, interface specifications, and system integration plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of system models and engineering artifacts.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and team members on MBSE principles and tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Proficiency in SysML and UML for system modeling and documentation.
  • Active Secret Clearance is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality engineering artifacts.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or similar.
  • Familiarity with DoDAF, UPDM, or related architecture frameworks.
  • Knowledge of system simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Understanding of software development and integration processes.
  • Certification in MBSE or related field is a plus.
