We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant/Associate/Professor of Internal Medicine to join our faculty at Lincoln Memorial University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical duties, and scholarly activity, contributing to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department.
Key Responsibilities- Teach LMU-DCOM approved curriculum and clinical duties
- Conduct scholarly activity and contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of courses and academic programs
- Promote clinical service and demonstrate adequate standards of professional linguistic expression in writing and speech
- Supervise students during clinical educational activities and patient care events
- Participate in clinic quality assurance and other service evaluation activities
- Engage in scholarly activity and serve as a mentor to medical and other students
- D.O./M.D. degree and Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Able to be licensed in Tennessee within the first-year of hire date
- Unrestricted Tennessee license and approved medical professional liability insurance
- D.O. degree and able to be licensed in Tennessee
- Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical/academic medicine teaching and leadership
