Key Responsibilities:
- Assume accountability for the care of patients, collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation technicians, and occupational therapy students.
- Conduct assessments to identify patient needs and implement appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
- Work collaboratively with the patient care team to uphold professional standards and promote interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary in consultation with physicians.
- Perform thorough assessments and reassessments of patients, ensuring accurate quality improvement scoring.
- Address patient pain and optimize functional participation in rehabilitation.
- Ensure patient safety and minimize the risk of healthcare errors during care delivery.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant state.
- Previous experience in occupational therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
Compensation:
The hourly wage ranges from $42.00 to $48.00, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the hired individual.
