Job Overview:
The Nursing Supervisor (RN) is accountable for overseeing the nursing staff and unit-based personnel to ensure a secure and compassionate environment for patients, families, and staff. This role promotes professional nursing practices, collaborative decision-making, and teamwork to achieve positive outcomes for both patients and staff.
The Supervisor manages daily operations and productivity, assisting the Nursing Manager in the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring of policies, procedures, budgets, and resource allocation. The role also includes quality improvement initiatives, educational programs, and governance councils aimed at meeting departmental and organizational objectives.
Provides nursing care as necessary.

Coordinates patient care in collaboration with inter-professional team members, identifying potential issues and resources for patients and families.
