Position Overview:

The Audio Visual Systems Programmer I is responsible for the administration and management of various systems that deliver essential services to Audio Visual Solutions (including but not limited to Jamf Admin, Jamf Server, Adobe Admin, Smart Deploy Server, Deep Freeze Server, PDQ, Hypervisor Server, etc.) under general oversight.

This role involves coordinating the upkeep, functionality, and enhancements of computers and other technological devices in AV-equipped environments, digital signage, and emergency public address systems. The position also supports daily operations and may offer guidance and training to fellow audio visual personnel.

Essential Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree coupled with two (2) years of experience in audio visual or Crestron programming; OR a master's degree with some experience in audio visual or Crestron programming.


Additional Departmental Requirements:
A valid U.S. driver's license is required.

Applicants must be at least 19 years old at the time of hiring and possess an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report in accordance with organizational policies. Candidates under the age of 21 will face certain driving limitations.


Skills and Expertise:
Proficiency in Crestron and/or Extron installations, Audio DSP (BiAmp & QSC) Simpl, Toolbox, VT-Pro. Strong communication abilities. Comprehensive understanding of AV system integration methodologies. Familiarity with IP configuration of AV devices across various VLANs, including the completion of IP tables.

Preferred Skills:
Completion of core courses in Crestron Programming, DM NVX, DM, QSC/BiAmp Configuration, Dante, and other industry standards (Shure, Extron, CTS).
