The Area Access Management System Administrator is a critical role that requires the ability to operate at both tactical and operational levels. This position ensures that only authorized individuals have access to restricted spaces, applying the principles of the "Zero-Trust" model to the corporate security program.
The successful candidate will review logical connections between permissions groups and physical devices, auditing access levels to identify misconfigurations and validating that only verified individuals have the relevant permissions. They will also drive the execution of necessary changes to the system to closure.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Support the client's Regional Program Security Manager on day-to-day approval of access requests across multiple sites.
- Proactively audit system connections between device and access permission to identify potential misconfigurations.
- Drive the execution of action items related to correcting misconfigurations or removing individual permissions to closure.
- Cultivate an intimate understanding of space functions, owners, and occupying organizations to apply the principle of least privilege (PoLP) to individual permissions.
- Manage multiple area access management security workflows crucial to operational success.
- Analyze datasets and space layouts, leveraging software systems to accomplish key tasks.
- Assist with security design and implementation for facilities.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Degree preferred and three or more years of experience in similar physical security roles, including Lenel OnGuard experience.
- Lenel access level design and management skills, preferred.
- Data entry or coding skills, preferred.
- Understanding of Python, SQL, and Splunk Search Processing language.
- Able to effectively troubleshoot within ambiguous environments.
- Root cause analysis skills.
- Able to communicate complex issues effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Results-oriented with a strong delivery focus.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with global and remote teams across all levels within the organization.
- Attentive to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
- Able to analyze both qualitative and quantitative metrics.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
- With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions.
- Regular computer usage.
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including earlier or later than 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, plus weekends as needed.
- Frequent sitting.
Pinkerton offers a competitive salary of $50.48/hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-paid life and AD&D, voluntary life and AD&D, medical, HSA, FSA, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(K), paid time off, and employee assistance programs.
