Product Manager

As a Product Manager, you'll play a critical role in defining product vision and strategy, leveraging your understanding of the customer experience and competitive market. You'll identify short- and long-term investment opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and drive the product roadmap. This role will allow you to build consensus on product strategy and work with partners to align on trade-offs. You'll define features and partner with stakeholders to achieve vision and defined goals for a specific product(s) or set of features, from product definition and planning through development, release, and end of life. This opportunity will allow you to focus on central, cross-functional leadership of a product.
Responsibilities
• Understand how your feature fits into the product or service area and develop problem statements and hypotheses to address customer needs and market opportunities.
• Collaborate with others to establish clarity of the root problem with the customer and ensure alignment between the customer, the market, and Microsoft's goals and strategy.
• Assist with customer research and analysis to identify unmet needs and market opportunities for feature enhancements or development.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features for the product roadmap.
• Drive and track Key Results and understand success criteria and performance metrics for the feature.
• Help identify investment opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize investments for the feature.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and garner support for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree (or currently pursuing).
• OR equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA) (provides transitioning service members and veterans with critical technical and career skills required for today's growing technology industry. Completed the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA) or will complete the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA) by June 6th, 2025.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree AND 1+ year(s) experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
• OR equivalent experience.
Compensation
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,600 - $174,600 per year.
