About the RoleWe're seeking a talented Production Associate/Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for building and assembling various components and truck bodies. With a strong focus on innovation and quality construction, we offer a dynamic work environment where you can learn, grow, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret orders, specifications, blueprints, instructions, and labels to ensure accurate production
- Cut wood or metals to specific sizes using saws, sheers, and cutters
- Assemble parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners
- Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools efficiently
- Perform setup and preventative maintenance tasks as required
- Inspect finished projects for quality and defects
- Adhere to all safety policies and perform regular safety checks
- At least 3 years of previous experience in manufacturing is essential
- You must be at least 18 years old and have basic math skills, tape measurement abilities, and computer proficiency
- Experience working with hand and power tools is necessary; reading and interpreting blueprints is also crucial
- A background in construction is highly valued
- Competitive salary: $21.75/hour + premium pay for 2nd shift ($4,000 sign-on bonus for hires with 3+ years of manufacturing experience)
