Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Manager to join our team at SourcePro Search, LLC. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of all servers, storage, and data centers firm-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Network Operations team responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and data centers.
  • Oversee the management of multiple data centers, including local office MDF/IDF's.
  • Manage office moves, expansions, and openings from an infrastructure perspective.
  • Manage the VMWare virtualization environment, NetApp storage, and Cisco server platforms.
  • Manage backups, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) systems.
  • Manage IS staff within the team, including hiring, training, evaluation, guidance, discipline, and discharge.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and supporting the Firm's directive of IS Service Management.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance for professional development to IS staff.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Work closely with the Network Architecture & Engineering and Communications teams.
  • Provide expertise and engineering support and guidance as needed.
  • Oversee systems work, including development, enhancement, and upgrades.
  • Communicate regularly with executive management and all users of information services and systems.
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation.
  • Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IS policies and procedures.
  • Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables and working with the project management team.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
  • Assist with defining systems requirements for incoming and proposed new systems.
  • Interface with vendors and manufacturers and advise upper management on status and quality of large-scale service and support contracts.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including experience in a multi-office environment.
  • Solid experience with servers, VMWare, and data centers.
  • Experience with NetApp storage and Cisco server platforms.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required.
  • Ability to travel, as required.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
  • Prior law firm or professional services experience.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Experience and/or certifications in the following:

  • Large scale data center designs, including servers (HP/Cisco), virtualization (VMWare), storage (NetApp), and BCP/DR.
  • Solarwinds monitoring services.
  • Network services - Active Directory, (GPO) Policies, RFS/DFS, and replication.
  • Supervisory experience.
