Job Opportunity

Pape Machinery Inc. is seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to join their team in the Christmas Valley area. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of agricultural equipment at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment, with a focus on John Deere products.
  • Travel to customer locations in a loaded Pape service vehicle to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Interact with customers to understand their equipment needs and provide top-notch service.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using self-motivation and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman-level skill in diagnosing and repairing agricultural equipment.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
  • Driver's license with a good driving record; Class B CDL preferred but not required.
  • Must reside within the Christmas Valley area.
