About the Job:

Salary: $19.10 - $24.83 per hour, dependent on relevant experience, with a full-time schedule of 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks). The location of this position is at UCHospital, CO: Broomfield.
Job Responsibilities:
- ">
- Provides emergent/urgent patient care under the direction of a physician, physician's assistant, and/or registered nurse.
- Performs technical procedures as delegated, including establishing IV access, collecting specimens, providing wound care, and transporting patients. May perform ECGs and vital statistics/telemetry monitoring.
- Assists physicians and nurses with performing medical procedures, including examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic treatment, and resuscitation.
- Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to medical/nursing staff.
- Assists with patient flow and keeping patient rooms clean, stocked, and orderly.
Requirements:

- Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider, current State Licensure as an EMT with IV certification, or EMT-I.
- Minimum Experience: None required.
