  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, power supplies, drives, gages, and test equipment.
  • Identify and recommend necessary improvements to equipment or processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity.
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work performed, including any tests or inspections.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly in relation to health and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to schedule repairs and maintenance to minimize production downtime.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance workshop and related areas.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of programmable controls and other automation technology.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Business Administration or facility management will be an advantage.
  • Valid certification in a relevant field (e.g. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)) will be an advantage.
