**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for cooking.

**Responsibilities**

• Prepare and cook meals for residents, ensuring high-quality food presentation and safety
   • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
   • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively
   • Collaborate with the Resident Services Coordinator to ensure that dietary needs and preferences are met
   • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to residents

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

   • 2+ years of experience working in a kitchen environment
   • High school diploma or equivalent required
   • Excellent leadership and communication skills
   • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
   • Basic math skills and attention to accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
