  • Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to create comprehensive estimates.
  • Utilize construction estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys.
  • Participate in bid review meetings and provide insights on project costs and risks.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure that estimates align with project objectives.
  • Maintain a database of cost data, subcontractor contacts, and historical project information.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and materials to make informed cost assessments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, PlanSwift, Bluebeam).
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in estimates.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
