**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Zoning Coordinator to join our team in the Town of Oxford. As a key member of our planning department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the town's planning and zoning operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and approve permit applications for construction, subdivision, and shoreline work.
  • Provide administrative and technical assistance to various boards and commissions.
  • Coordinate with other departments and reviewing agencies to ensure compliance with ordinances and regulations.
  • Provide technical information and assistance to the public, planning professionals, and government offices.
  • Assist in drafting updates to Planning and Zoning codes.
  • Administer land use and planning-related projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree in urban planning, geography, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Adobe software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to analyze and interpret laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.

Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per year
