We are in search of a meticulous and analytical Fleet Operations Analyst to contribute to our client's objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage fleet management systems to enhance fleet efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness, addressing the organization's comprehensive fleet requirements. This will involve collaboration with branch leaders, regional directors, safety personnel, and the fleet management division.

This opportunity is a full-time direct hire position offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, 401k, a hybrid work model (2 days in-office and 3 days remote), and paid time off.

The selected candidate will be required to travel to designated sites for the 2 in-office days each week. Prior experience in Fleet Management and proficiency in MS Excel is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay informed on federal, state, and local regulations affecting fleet operations, including vehicle inspections, emissions standards, and driver licensing requirements.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to fleet performance, fuel efficiency, maintenance expenses, and vehicle usage.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to enhance fleet performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance, vehicle availability, and repair turnaround times.
  • Organize and manage fleet telematics requirements.
  • Track vehicle replacement needs and coordinate with fleet management to ensure this process is executed effectively.
  • Work with the safety team to acquire and implement new safety features.
  • Assess fleet management processes and partner with leadership to drive improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards to management, emphasizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
  • Engage with fleet management providers and business leaders to determine future vehicle requirements and ordering needs.
  • Oversee licensing and title requirements in accordance with fleet regulations.
  • Monitor advancements in fleet technology to enhance overall fleet safety and performance.
  • Collaborate with vehicle upfitters to establish and implement specifications and requirements for delivery trucks.
  • Track and monitor vehicles throughout the build process to ensure specifications and timelines are adhered to at final delivery.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers, including negotiating contracts and service agreements.
  • Assess vendor performance to guarantee high-quality and cost-effective services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills across various organizational levels.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of independently seeking solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with fleet management software (currently utilizing Wheels) and GPS tracking systems.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, not exceeding 25%.
  • Prior experience in fleet management or logistics is required.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
