About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing installed fire alarm and life safety systems, including panel repair and reprogramming, device replacement and repair, and system testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems, including fire alarm and life safety systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate and efficient work
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls as needed
Requirements
  • 5+ years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire alarm and life safety systems
  • NICET Level II certification (or equivalent)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools up to 50-70 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
