Job Overview

1719 Associates LLC is seeking a skilled Culinary Supervisor and Kitchen Leader to enhance our culinary operations.


The Culinary Supervisor role is a salaried position, commensurate with experience.

The Kitchen Leader position starts at $14.00/hour.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepares meals according to specifications prior to and during service.

· Accurately measures and portions all food items, adhering to portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental policies.

· Cooks all dishes to the required specifications in a timely manner.

· Utilizes various kitchen equipment for food preparation, including knives, slicers, whips, pots, pans, warmers, steamers, grills, and ovens.

· Maintains proper food temperatures and ensures correct food storage practices.

· Guarantees the freshness and quality of all menu offerings.

· Packages all products according to established specifications.

· Executes opening, closing, and side work duties as directed, following proper guidelines.

· Keeps workstations, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and adequately stocked.

· Adheres to all health codes and sanitation regulations.

· Sets up and operates kitchen equipment effectively.

· Implements waste control measures and records all waste on spoilage sheets.

· Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Minimum of six months' experience as a Prep Cook or Line Cook.

· Proficient in reading and understanding recipes and food abbreviations.

· Capable of moving quickly and managing multiple orders simultaneously.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

· Detail-oriented and attentive to quality.

· Competent in following procedures and taking direction.

· Basic math skills; able to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions.

Physical Requirements

· Manual dexterity sufficient for chopping, mixing, blending, and whipping a variety of foods and liquids.

· Ability to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 lbs.

· Capable of handling or operating potentially dangerous kitchen equipment.
