About the Opportunity

A leading healthcare services organization in New York City is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Manhattan as an Acute Dialysis Nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and provide safe, effective patient care for assigned patients as prescribed for all modality-specific treatment procedures.
  • Enter all treatment data into the designated medical record thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Perform the implementation, administration, monitoring, and documentation of patient's response to prescribed intradialytic transfusions, including appropriate notification of adverse reactions to physician and appropriate blood supplier.
  • Handle other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Acute Dialysis experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills.
  • Patient-oriented.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized.
