Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Leggett & Platt Incorporated. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed internal quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform dimensional and physical testing or visual inspection of components and manufactured/assembled products to ensure conformance to engineering and quality standards.
- Provide dimensional layout service to ensure component and assembly conformance to engineering and quality standards.
- Perform sort and/or rework activities as required per work instructions.
- Collect and report data, and create quality reports as necessary.
- Set up and operate measurement machines, including calipers, pin gages, CMM, and 2D/3D imaging devices.
- Maintain and verify measurement and test equipment, and develop and implement proper calibration and usage methods.
- Support Quality Engineering in problem-solving and compliance with quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Comply with 6S standards and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills (reading, writing, and listening).
- Knowledge of problem-solving skills and multi-tasking.
- Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English language (written and spoken).
- Ability to operate systems like CMM, 2D, and 3D imaging devices (when applicable).
