Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Leggett & Platt Incorporated. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed internal and customer quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional and physical testing or visual inspection of components and manufactured/assembled products to ensure conformance to engineering and quality standards.
- Operate measurement machines, including calipers, pin gages, CMM, and 2D/3D imaging devices, to collect data and create quality reports.
- Maintain and verify measurement and test equipment, including gauge calibration and repeatability and reproducibility studies.
- Support Quality Engineering in problem-solving and compliance with quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Comply with 6S standards and procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills and knowledge of problem-solving skills.
- Multi-tasking, strong math, and metrology technical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English language (written and spoken).
