Touro University is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Imaging Educator to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing clinical imaging education for preclinical students.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with clinical and anatomy faculty to design and implement imaging curriculum that aligns with the overall curriculum.
- Lecture and Lab Instruction: Provide lectures and lab instruction on the use and interpretation of imaging studies in medicine, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of clinical imaging concepts.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Create exam questions that assess students' knowledge and skills in imaging studies.
As a Clinical Imaging Educator, you will have the opportunity to supervise and mentor students in the Ultrasound and Radiology clubs, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications- Education and Experience: Hold an MD/DO degree with significant clinical experience in hands-on ultrasound and demonstrate expertise in interpreting various forms of medical imaging, including ultrasound, radiology, CT scans, and MRI.
- Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with preclinical students on clinical topics, ensuring clear understanding and application of imaging concepts.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Demonstrate a commitment to leading sessions that respect diversity and inclusion, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Minimum Salary: USD $110.00/Hr.
