Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop individualized therapy plans to address the needs of students.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans and ensure a cohesive approach to communication development.
  • Case Load Management: Manage a moderate case load of diverse students with varying communication needs, prioritizing their needs and developing strategies to support their progress.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and transparency.
Qualifications
  • SLP Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid Texas SLP license.
  • CFY Requirements: Currently enrolled in or completed a Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology and eligible for Texas Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
  • SLPA Requirements: Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or a related field and a valid Texas SLPA license.
