Position Summary
The Lead Janitor plays a crucial role in overseeing a team of cleaning personnel, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This position involves conducting quality assurance inspections and guaranteeing that service levels consistently meet or exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and motivate a team of cleaners, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess cleanliness and quality.
- Assist in training new housekeeping staff and coordinate work schedules.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors and management regarding cleaning operations.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and maintained.
Essential Functions
- Lead quality improvement initiatives within assigned areas.
- Foster a culture of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Participate in training and development activities for team members.
- Oversee the completion of tasks and confirm with management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Preferred: Customer service experience and at least 1 year of related work experience.
Compensation and Benefits

Work Schedule
This position requires availability for shifts on Sundays and evenings during the week.
