Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse to join our team at Providence Little Company Of Mary Torrance Hospital. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current California Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Current National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in an ICU setting.
- Current National Certification in area of specialty.
