Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Equipment R&D Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for transitioning new products from R&D to full-scale production, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop internal processes and provide technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training content and work instructions to ensure seamless product launches.
  • Collaborate with teams to define the release process, including required deliverables and long-term ownership.
  • Apply engineering principles and practices to design, develop, and release products and subsystems.
  • Identify and develop process improvements that promote measurable success.
  • Build in-depth understanding of Intralox's Activated Roller Belt Technology.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with multi-discipline teams to develop creative solutions and alternatives for manufacturing problems.
  • Provide technical assistance to support equipment manuals and customer-facing documents.
  • Support equipment installation and start-up, often on-site in customer plants.
  • Provide technical assistance to sales account managers and customers via phone, written correspondence, and webcasts.
  • Provide lessons learned training upstream after product releases.
Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Strong mechanical and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain poise and focus under time constraint pressures and adverse conditions.
  • Ability to work with tools in an industrial environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of conveyance equipment.
  • Background in lean methodology.

Intralox offers a comprehensive benefit program, including health, dental, vision, and disability insurance, paid time off, 401K, flexible spending account, life and AD&D insurance, long-term care, tuition reimbursement, and additional voluntary benefits. The salary range is $66,000 to $168,600, and the position is eligible for commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans.
