Job Summary:

UNFI is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Order Selector to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Warehouse Order Selector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate selection and staging of products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and select the correct pick locations and items in accordance with the order.
  • Inspect assigned equipment for safety issues and report any concerns to a supervisor or manager.
  • Identify the correct pick location, Master Case locations, and pick sequence in accordance with the order.
  • Pick the correct item and quantity, checking UPCs or item descriptions.
  • Place pick labels on the side of the cases and stage pallets in the appropriate bay.
  • Build stable and well-cubed pallets and ensure a clean and debris-free work area.
  • Operate pallet jack/pushcart in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Warehouse experience selecting is preferred but not required.
  • Lifting objects weighing from less than 20 to 60lbs consistently.
  • Occasional pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping.
  • Ability to work in various temperatures from -20 to 80 degrees.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
