Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Cardio Aide plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Nuclear Medicine department. This position is responsible for monitoring, documenting, and interpreting EKG rhythms and hemodynamic lines during stress testing protocols, as well as preparing patients for procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with treadmill tests and nuclear medicine myocardial exams
  • Transport patients to and from the Nuclear Medicine department
  • Assist nurses and technologists with other procedures in the department
  • Order, stock, and maintain inventory of supplies
  • Perform data entry of stress test information into appropriate systems
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Successful completion of a Basic Cardiac Rhythms course
  • Medical Terminology through education or experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with EKGs, EKG training, and stress testing protocols
  • Knowledge of oxygen equipment
