Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Emerald Health Services. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using nuclear medicine techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radioactive medications to patients and operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce images of the body.
  • Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient.
  • Operate computerized systems to acquire and process nuclear medicine images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret nuclear medicine images and develop treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Current OR License.
  • 1 year of previous Nuclear Medicine experience.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field.
  • BLS certification.
  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in a clinical diagnostic hospital setting.
