Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MRI Weekend Tech Assistant to join our team at West Virginia University Hospital, Inc. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing MRI procedures
  • Assist radiologic technologists in preparing patients for imaging procedures and maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Coordinate patient transportation and communication between departments
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the radiology department
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date
  • Competency in safe patient handling equipment within 30 days of hire date
  • One year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
Working Environment

The MRI Weekend Tech Assistant will work in a fast-paced radiology department, exposed to minimal radiation and airborne particles. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a dynamic environment.
