Our Pediatric ServicesThe Children's Regional Hospital at Cooper University Hospital is a state-of-the-art pediatric facility, offering a range of services to meet the diverse needs of pediatric patients. Our units include the Pediatric unit, Pediatric Intermediate unit (PIMU), Pediatric Kostic Infusion Room (PKIR), and Pediatric Intensive Care unit (PICU). We provide care for patients aged 0 to 18 years and offer subspecialty services through consultation and referral in areas such as Endocrinology, Genetics, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology, Otolaryngology, Pediatric Surgery, Trauma, and Hematology.
Our family-centered rounds are conducted daily with an interdisciplinary care team, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care. Our facilities are designed with patient safety in mind, featuring a teen room, a spacious playroom, and a family waiting room. Our Pediatric unit and PIMU have a 38-bed capacity, while the PICU is a private 6-bed unit providing intensive care to pediatric patients requiring hospitalization for life-threatening illnesses or injury.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process and therapeutic use of self. They will also be expected to communicate effectively with internal customers and supervisors, providing excellent customer service and applying Cooper core values.
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree from an NLN-accredited School of Nursing and hold a current NJ-RN License. Advanced certification in areas such as ACLS, NALS, and PALS may be required for certain specialties.
