Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer, PE to join our team at NGA Washington. As a Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for all mechanical systems, you will provide critical support to building operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise
    • Advise mechanical technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions and develop, implement, and regularly review mechanical preventative maintenance plans that meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards.
    • Perform overall capacity management, maintaining building calculations to manage supply available with loads required.
    • Ensure building modifications comply with all code requirements and original design intent for NGA Washington.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality services and support building operations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans that meet business objectives.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
    • Mechanical Engineer (ME) registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in one of the 50 U.S. States, U.S. Territories, or Possessions.
    • Seven years' experience in managing and operating facilities.
    • Active Top Secret US security clearance with SCI eligibility.
